1. Acceptance
By downloading or using Roam ("the app", "the service"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2. What Roam Is
Roam is a travel planning app that lets you create and manage trip itineraries, collaborate with travel companions, and track budgets and packing lists.
3. Your Account
You need an account to use Roam. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You must provide a valid email address and must not impersonate others.
You may delete your account at any time from the Profile screen. Deletion is permanent and removes all your data.
4. Your Content
You retain ownership of all trip data you create. By using Roam, you grant us a limited license to store and transmit your content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.
You are responsible for the content you upload or share. Do not use Roam to store or share illegal, harmful, or infringing content.
5. Shared Trips
When you invite others to a trip, those members can view or edit content depending on the role you assign. You are responsible for managing who you invite. Removing a member or deleting the trip ends their access.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the app for any unlawful purpose.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the service or other users' data.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app.
- Use automated means to access the service without our permission.
7. Service Availability
We aim to keep Roam available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time with or without notice.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
Roam is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be error-free or that your data will never be lost.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including loss of data.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
